Baz Luhrmann Mentorship

A while ago I was chosen to be mentored by Romeo+Juliet and Strictly ballroom director Baz Luhrmann. What a sport...driving up to Manchester to help make a short film starring Brenda Blethyn & Emma Bunton, that was shown before the Royal Premiere of Moulin Rouge, in Leicester Square. We spent a couple of days talking about film and with his guidance I made the slapstick comedy short, with Emma and Brenda kindly giving up their time for free and trekking to the North for the one-day shoot.
