Gibbs paradox (original) (raw)

The resolution of this paradox has been very controversial. A list of papers mainly published in journals on this topic is compiled. Comments are welcomed. Please write me (E-mail: [email protected]) if you have a paper to be listed here or if you have any suggestion. I have a collection of almost all papers in pdf format.

The papers by S.H. Faria are relevant because they make mathematically clear and precise the idea of a "continuously variable similarity" between substances, which is, ashamingly, almost never made clear in the literature discussing the Gibbs paradox.
