There's no question – if you own a 3DS, this is the best game on the platform, and instantly worthy of a purchase. It's one of the best portable platformers I've ever played (and I've had my fair share), and an almost shockingly good Mario title on any platform.

It's not just the killer application the 3DS was waiting for, it's also one of the most enjoyables platformers in years, filled with creative ideas and offering a perfect balance between tradition and innovation.

I love this game, it's a mix between the classic 2D Super Mario with the mechanics of 3D Mario. The only negative thing is its secondary story, which is somewhat bland.

Now, sometimes the Nintendo 3DS can feel like a portable Wii U And this is what it felt like super Mario 3-D World for the 3DS And it’s great I meanThis was one of the best selling 3DS games in the Mario franchise well of course except Mario Kart 7

Mario has some restrictions in Super Mario 3D Land, which is why the game comes closer to the original platformers that are all about challenge and focused platform levels. It all works out, thanks to the surprise at the end of the game and the wealth of challenges available here.

Inventive, beautiful and dangerously addictive, Super Mario 3D Land is the 3DS defining game, capitalising on the system's strengths and value of portability, while recalling the best qualities of both 2D and 3D iterations of the franchise. Not to be missed.

Super Mario 3D Land is indeed a wonderful debut on Nintendo 3DS. The 3D effect is fine and helpful because of some camera issues. Mario fans will love this new experience because of the very cool retro elements.

The excellent platforming and the 3D images ensure a creative mixture between the old and new Mario. Maybe a less agile Mario than we're used to, but that has it's charm in some ways. Thanks to the extremely varied environments and the succesful usage of 3D, Super Mario 3D Land is by far the best Mario game for the 3DS.

The best game. Just best. Phenomenal. Pioneer. Console saver. good gameplay and good use of 3D

The 3D effect makes my eyes want to claw their way out of my head FIRST MARIO GAME TO DO THAT, AND THEY SAID THIS GAME ISNT ORIGINAL!??

This is my least favorite Mario Game. I am not biased against the series, I am a huge Mario fan, but this game mostly just annoyed me by only being able to move in 8 directions. I also wasn't a fan a being forced to use 3d. I personally think 3d World is better in pretty much every way, so if you have a WiiU, get that. If you don't, I'd recommend New Super Mario Bros.

Summary Get Ready for a New Spin on a Familiar Tail. Super Mario 3D Land reinvents everything fans love about Mario gaming with the first platforming environment in true 3D, without the need for special glasses. Players will experience a new sense of depth, distance and speed while running, jumping and stomping on enemies throughout the levels. ...
