Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach Reviews (original) (raw)

Es muy buen juego una obra de arte todo un juegazo y los finales son una locura tambien como las animaciones de el juego

With my honest opinion. This is not bad. I can Cleary see that some parts were rushed, as you can see into the abyss of nothing, some bits were just plain bad and some bits just outright didn’t make any sense. I can really see the appreciation people feel for this with or the collectibles and nods, but the story is just kinda meh. I feel like in this case, the open world is holding this game up. I loved everything about the open world, how it felt like a place you could visit. But other than that, it just has good collectibles, good environment, great open world, meh story with just alright mechanics and structure. Present me now. Metacritic won't allow me to rate the DLC, so to keep this short and sweet 6/10. Good game. 7/10.

FNAF: Security Breach is a fun game. It is very clear to me that the devs of this game truly love the FNAF franchise, if not always being able to execute on that appreciation. You can see the shear love for these characters in the characters. Each character seems so fleshed out and thought dearly about and perfectly crafted to fit in this game. Each area of the map seems so considered and unique, no place in this game feels like an afterthought. As someone who loves the FNAF franchise I could easily geek and gawk at the little things that make this game lovely, it’s time to look at the big things. First and most importantly, this game is not a horror game. It is categorized as such and marketed as such, however it fails to be very scary at all. This is more in tune with a story thriller game than a horror. The DLC expansion RUIN I believe does a much better job at horror, but this review is of Security Breach individually. This being said that in no means Is supposed to Imply that it’s not fun to play. It’s a great little experience for most people and does an overall great job at being a fun game for FNAF fans. Ignoring the unfinished state this released in, as most bugs have been weeded out and only minor ones remain. This game is an overall fun game to play. When it comes to story, it is again like any good FNAF game really hard to follow. As soon as the game starts you’re immediately left with questions as to why and how and only more questions to answer them. In terms of lore significance this is a hard game to value. As revealed in an interview later, this game was not truly made hand in hand with the creator of the original series. This leads to alot of plot holes and rewriting of the series lore. And on top of that, some characters such as Vanny, are so hyped in the trailer and yet so insignificant in the actual game. If you removed Burntrap and Vanny from the game I truly believe it would make little to no difference to the game. However, there are still PLENTY of fun references and new lore that feels perfectly fit for the lore that fans have discovered and will forever remain in the series as a infamous but yet great Five Nights at Freddy’s game. Overall I would give this game a 4/5 for the story and a 3/5 for gameplay. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone.

I really wanted to give this game a high score but I can't cause there are way too many things wrong with it. First of all, it's supposed to be scary as it is a horror game, well.... it's not. If I had to use only one adjective to describe it, it would be "stressful" rather than scary. Too much effort went into environment design and not enough in the gameplay itself, what we are given is a gigantic map with an endless maze of floors, segments, secret passeges, elevators, vents etc. that created the amazing environment but other than that... it's useless. The whole point of the game is to walk around the map, interact with this, interact with that, push this button, pull this lever and not get caught doing it, it gets repetitive and annoying especially cause you're given very little information about what do you need to do and where do you need to go which is unforgivable in my opinion considering that navigating this enormous map without knowing where do you need to go is quite tedious and frustrating. Bugs, glitches, lack of information, huge distances you need to cover to get from one quest to the other and absence of horror make this game.... unsatisfactory (can't bring myself to say bad cause I'm a huge fnaf universe fan).
