Terms of Publication and Open Access Policy

Magnetohydrodynamics has adopted a hybrid publishing model with accepted manuscripts published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/. This model permits authors and others to copy, distribute, transmit, and adapt the work, provided that proper credit is given.

By default, all articles are published under the Green Open Access model which enables the accepted manuscript to be made freely available via an online repository following a six-month embargo period.

Gold Open Access, which enables free online access to a published article to any online user, is available upon paying an article processing charge of €600.

Since 2007 Magnetohydrodynamics is indexed and abstracted inScience Citation Index Expanded (SciSearch) and Journal Citation Reports/Science Edition 2007, published by Thomson Scientific.

Dear Authors,
We offer a possibility to place online additional materials to the articles published in the Magnetohydrodynamics (for example, figures in colour, videos, etc.), which are difficult or expensive for the journal print version.
