MILFORD is a long-established gathering of authors who write speculative fiction (in its widest sense). We run two events annually: a retreat week in May and a critique week in September.

We critique work, discuss ideas, and generally connect with other like-minded writers. Invitations are extended to any published SF author - from relative newcomers to those may only dimly recall what rejection slips look like. Milford first timers are particularly welcome.

A week in the company of other writers with time to write in delightful surroundings with meals provided. Social time at meal-times and evenings. Note - there's no publication qualification for the retreat.
