Former uranium mine in the small community of Eldorado (7 km east of the community of Uranium City) in the Beaverlodge Uranium District.
The mine, which worked on high-grade uraninite ore, opened in 1953 and was permanently closed in June 1982. It was owned and operated by Eldorado Mining and Refining, a Crown Corporation of the Canadian government.
