Description: Analyses of scapolite from Ødegården gives meionite "(CO3)" percentage from 20% to 25%, and anorthite "Ca" percentage from 23% to 30%, clearly showind a marialite dominance. Marialite can be found as several centimeter-long euhedral crystals, and some plases marialite can constitute up to 85% of the rock ("Ødegårdite" = scapolitized metagabbro/amphibolites).

Description: Erdmann describe what he thinks ia a new mineral as "bamblite", from a locality '1 mile south of Brevig' (Bamble area). This proved later to be sillimanite. Sillimanite is not uncommon in gneisses and pegmatites related to gneisses in Bamble.

Description: Kobell is the first to describe wagnerite from Bamble, but believe it's a new mineral and call it "kjerulfin". Bauer suspect it to be wagnerite, and Brøgger indicate a strong relation ship or the posibillity that they are identical. Pisani is the first to prove that "kjerulfin" is wagnerite.
