Two news. A good one, and a bad one: UTSDK's biggest release is to come, but there won't be a Q4/24 release, as some might have guessed. I've decided to switch to biannual releases instead. The main reasons are:
1. Former Q4/24 or Q1/25 releases should have introduced a new component system already, which takes more work than expected, yet its THE crucial core technology of the SDK and should be done with care, enough time and patience. Next release will be 31.06.25, which will be the biggest release yet.
2. Quarterly releases are too clinched and I always have no time in the end for documentation, so technology newly introduced with each release lacks documentation, which is bad - because I highly prefer usability.
3. I'm planning a new render device infrastructure abandoning old and crusted mechanics to implement open source shader support, more direct and faster render capabilities and so on. This, however, is something for the end of 2025 or even around 2026 releases.
