The NABS Kentucky Gallery (original) (raw)

Kentucky and Arizona vie for second place as the state with the most natural arches after Utah. Although no comprehensive count for each state exists, it appears Kentucky is the likely winner. Kentucky is not as famous for natural arches because the arches tend to be harder to photograph than their couterparts in the Colorado Plateau. Many are dark and obscured by foliage. However, they are often equally spectacular to visit. We hope the sampling in this Gallery will help give Kentucky arches their due.
