681 Class Working Launch / Ferryboat: * Built by Cavite Navy Yard, Cavite, Philippines * Authorized, July 1905 * Laid down, date unknown * Launched, 25 June 1906 * Completed and placed in service as the wooden Working Launch No. 681, January 1908 * Reclassified as Yard Ferryboat (YFB-681), 17 July 1920 * Named Santa Rita, 1921 * Sunk by a direct bomb hit during the Japanese air raid on Cavite Navy Yard, 10 December 1941 1 * Struck from the Naval Register, 24 July 1942 * Santa Rita earned one battle star for World War II service

1.Santa Rita's DANFS entry is incorrect; several ships' logs mention one of the yard tugs being obliterated by a direct hit during the destruction of Cavite, and the other 681 boats are noted in service after this date.
