Nephroseq is supported by the Data Analytic Services Core (DASC) as part of the George M. O'Brien Kidney National Resource Center at the University of Michigan. The primary goal of the DASC is to provide the renal research community a platform for integrative data mining. DASC-hosted data mining and sharing platforms have been developed to enable integration of multi-scale data sets to be mined, analyzed, and shared by research base investigators. The data mining and analytic interfaces to interrogate genetic, molecular, histological, or clinical features of interest have been specifically developed towards the needs of the kidney researcher.


Nephroseq is a free platform to the academic and non-profit community for integrative data mining of genotype/phenotype data, with optimized workflows that lead you from search to visualization and go from question to answer to next question. Is this gene functionally important in glomeruli? Is this gene associated with a certain phenotype, severity, or sub-category of disease? Is this list of genes related to the target profile of a drug compound? INTRODUCING NEPHROSEQ v5! We have begun the process of redesigning Nephroseq to make it more intuitive and user-friendly.
