Welcome Week is a great opportunity to find out what you need to know about university life and being a University of Newcastle student!
Our location
Nestled amidst beautiful bushland on Chittaway Road at Ourimbah, the campus is just an hour from both Sydney and Newcastle, with numerous public transport services running to the campus.
The Central Coast region offers a relaxed, affordable and convenient lifestyle with access to beautiful beaches and national parks. The Central Coast also offers great shopping and markets, a range of sporting clubs and a host of hidden gems.
Smoking on campus

Smoking at Ourimbah campus is strictly limited to designated smoking pods located away from building entrances and high pedestrian zones.
