NEWARK - The Devils acquired forward Petr Straka from the Flyers in exchange for a conditional seventh-round draft pick in the 2017 or 2018 NHL Draft, the team announced Saturday.

The Devils said Straka will report to Albany (AHL).

The 24-year-old Straka was the 55th overall pick in the 2010 NHL Draft, taken in the second round by the Columbus Bluejackets. He's appeared in three NHL games, all with the Flyers during the 2014-15 season. He recorded two assists during his brief NHL stint.

With the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, the Flyers' AHL affiliate, last season, Straka finished with 19 goals and 18 assists in 64 games..
