What is a nyckelharpa?
The nyckelharpa is a traditional Swedish instrument that has been played, in one form or another as it evolved, for more than 600 years. At least four different versions of the nyckelharpa are still played today, an uncommon situation for most folk instruments.

ANA Zoom Jam – November 16th!
Join us Saturday, November 16th, 10:00-11:30 am Pacific Time for our quarterly Zoom Jam! Our leaders this session are Cajsa Ekstav, John Hall, Elise Peters, and Renee Vaughan. There should be time at the end for some participant-led tunes, so think of your favorite! All instruments are welcome.
If you are an ANA member, you will receive the Zoom link by email a day or two before the jam. If you’re not a member and want to attend, please use our Google signup form.
