Not all Indiana Jones quests bring home the archaeological bacon, but his latest adventure has reaped a treasure fit for Midas. As Harrison Ford returned to the title role after 19 years, “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,” released by Paramount on Thursday, hauled in an estimated 126millionthroughSundayandisexpectedtoamass126 million through Sunday and is expected to amass 126millionthroughSundayandisexpectedtoamass25 million more on Monday, according to the box-office-tracking company Media by Numbers. If the numbers hold up, the film would be the second-best Memorial Day opening, after “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End” last year, according to Variety.
