The Human Resources Department oversees the process to hire new employees for the Village of Oak Park. The department also manages labor relations, personnel administration, equal opportunity and training. Activities include negotiating union contracts, grievance resolution for union and non-union employees, recruiting and screening of prospective employees, benefits administration, developing and facilitating training programs and monitoring compliance with related laws ordinances and policies.

Open positions require applicants to fill out the Application for Employment Form as well as the Applicant EEO Data Form, unless indicated in the job description. These forms can be submitted digitally to jobs@oak-park.us. Please refer to the specific job listing for additional instructions.
