Lightweight cryptography for embedded systems (original) (raw)
Our mission is to provide the best crypto software for small microcontrollers.
| | | Our crypto software is designed to be tiny – and to take maximum advantage of Arm Cortex-M and RISC-V 32-bit hardware. | | - | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | | | More information... |
Writing correct cryptographic software is hard. Cryptographic software for deeply embedded systems, such as Internet of Things devices based on inexpensive microcontrollers, is even harder – due to constrained memory resources and processor speeds. Customers have found that our software has met the challenge, for example:
- "For our bootloader, there were hard limits regarding the memory consumption of crypto code. The ocrypto library of Oberon microsystems did simply fit. ... I can recommend Oberon's ocrypto library without any reservation."
- "Oberon microsystems understands embedded and we are proud to integrate their high-quality solutions in our devices."
