| | WWE RAW RESULTS July 12, 2004Manchester, NH Announcers: Jim Ross & Jerry Lawler HEAT TAPINGS: Carly Colon defeated Arch Kincaid -dark match-;John Walters defeated Antonio Thomas -dark match-;Randy Orton defeated Rosey;Val Venis defeated Chuck Palumbo (with a new look);Victoria defeated Molly Holly (Stevie Richards came out in drag again, and Victoria figured it out).. BACKSTAGE: Evolution + Eugene Dinsmore.. Evolution argues over who will get to beat up Eugene first when he gets here..Triple H orders Evolution to let him him talk to Eugene first because Eugene cost him the World title..Eugene enters and apologizes saying he made a big mistake last night at Vengeance..Triple H puts a smile on and says the important thing is that friends are friends and everybody makes mistakes..Triple H says he is not mad at Eugene but he knows that Eric Bischoff is really upset with him..Eugene apoligizes to evolution again and leaves to go see his Uncle Eric..Randy Orton asks Triple H why they didn't just take care of Eugene on the spot?Triple H says what Eric Bischoff has in store for Eugene will make all of them happy.. NON (IC) TITLE MATCH: Edge vs Batista.. Midway through the match, Randy Orton walked down and tripped Edge, then got ejected by the referee..Edge took a beating for most of the match, but pulled out a pinfall while holding the ropes! BACKSTAGE: Eugene & Eric Bischoff.. Eugene cautiously walks into Eric Bischoff's office and asks if he is mad at him?Eric Bischoff says he's mad as hell that everybody is blaming Eugene for Triple H losing to Chris Benoit..Eric Bischoff says that Eugene made at honest mistake, and he's proud of the way Eugene acted last week as GM..Eric Bischoff says that Eugene has finally convinced him that he belongs in the wrestling business..Eric Bischoff says he's going to reward Eugene with a World Heavyweight title match against Chris Benoit! ON STAGE: Jerry Lawler + RAW DivaSearch Contestant (useless plugging for the RAW DivaSearch Show)..INTERVIEW: Todd Grisham & Ric Flair + The Hurricane.. Ric Flair says that Evolution will go on record as wishing Eugene the best in his title match tonight..Ric Flair talks about his book tour and cuts a promo about his career, and Eugene driving him crazy!The Hurricane swoops in and says a superhero shouldn't be seen conversing with the "Dirtiest Player in the Game"The Hurricane then asks Ric Flair to sign his book..Ric Flair says he knows Hurricane's name is Gregory Helms and they are both in the same profession..Ric Flair says the only difference is that he became a legend, and Helms became a JOKE!Ric Flair tells The Hurricane to get lost and get his career straightened out..The Hurricane says that he doesn't care if Ric Flair signs his book or not..The Hurricane says it wasn't as good as The Rock's book, Hulk Hogan's book, even Chyna's book!The Hurricane says it sure as hell isn't #1 like Mick Foley's book..Ric Flair takes serious offense to that and punches Hurricane out and challenges him to a match! MATCH: Rob Conway w/Sylvain Grenier vs Rhyno w/Tajiri.. Sylvain Grenier tried to hold Rhyno's leg, but Tajiri came up and sick-kicked him in the head!Rhyno gored Rob Conway and pinned him for the win! MATCH: Tyson Tomko w/Trish Stratus vs Maven w/Nidia.. Trish Stratus tried to interfere but Nidia pulled her off the ring aprong..Travis Tomko flung Maven off the ropes and knocked him out with a vicious boot to the face! BACKSTAGE: Chris Benoit & William Regal.. William Regal says he knows Evolution is up to something he just can't figure it out..William Regal says he just doesn't want anything bad to happen to Eugene..Chris Benoit says he likes Eugene but tonight the World Heavyweight title is on the line.. HIGHLIGHT REEL: Chris Jericho & Kane + Lita.. Chris Jericho says he made history last week by becoming the first ever Musical Chairs Champion!Kane says that Lita may be carrying his baby, but she won't get away with costing him his match last night..Lita comes out (looking really good --- pregnant chicks rule!)Kane gets in Lita's face, but Lita snatches the microphone away and says she's tired of being the victim!Lita says that Kane doesn't know what suffering is, and explains her recent suffering..Lita says that she's going to what she wants and Kane can't do a damn thing "You suck son of a bitch!"Kane says he knows he can't do anything to Lita, but he can do something to Matt (Hardy)..Kane says he has the power to create life, but he also has the power to end it!Lita says a few weeks ago that would have scared her, because now she knows Matt can fight his own battles..Lita says she knows who the father of her baby is, and it's NOT Kane, because Matt is more of a man than Kane!Lita leaves, and Kane got nuts trying to destroy the Highlight Reel set, and tosses Jericho out!Kane leaves and Chris Jericho gets on the microphone and challenges Kane to come back for a fight..After a series of insults, Kane turns around and heads back to the ring.. MATCH: Chris Jericho vs Kane.. Kane got himself disqualified after low-blowing Chris Jericho..Kane then hit a double choke-slam on both Chris Jericho and referee Chris Kay.. ON STAGE: Jerry Lawler + RAW DivaSearch Contestant (useless plugging for the RAW DivaSearch Show)..MATCH: Ric Flair vs The Hurricane.. Quote of the Night: My book sold over a million copies, you can come over to my house and count them!Ric Flair makes Hurricane tap out to the figure four leg lock.. ON STAGE: Jerry Lawler + RAW DivaSearch Contestant (useless plugging for the RAW DivaSearch Show)..BACKSTAGE: Chris Benoit & Eugene Dinsmore.. Chris Benoit says he's not mad at Eugene and that he is Eugene's friend..Chris Benoit says that he wants to just go out wrestle Eugene, and nothing dirty..Chris Benoit says he's going to do his best to keep his title.. WORLD TITLE MATCH: Chris Benoit vs Eugene Dinsmore.. Late in the match, Eugene actually locked Chris Benoit into a Crippler Crossface submission..Chris Benoit made it to the ropes to break the hold..Eugene hit Chris Benoit with a Rock Bottom, but only got a 2-count because Benoit's foot was on the ropes..Eugene got up and grabbed the belt and started running around the ring, thinking that he won the match!Evolution's music hit and Triple H, Ric Flair, Batista & Randy Orton came down to Congratulate Eugene..Triple H clapped for Eugene but then turned and knocked Eugene out with a shot to the head!The rest of Evolution attacked Chris Benoit while Ric Flair held Eugene and forced him to watch..William Regal ran in and attacked Randy Orton but Batista took down Regal..Eugene also got up and started fighting back but was once again taken down by Ric Flair & Batista..Triple H slapped Eugene accross the face and then punches him in the head while Evolution held his arms!Randy Orton then hit an RKO on Eugene, followed by a Demon-bomb by Batista!Eugene was busted open and bloodied as Evolution continued the assault ending with a Pedigree by HHH!
