ON STAGE: Maven.. Maven (General Manager for the night) comes out and welcomes the crowd to Monday Night Raw!Maven sets up several matches for the night including Edge/Christian vs Benoit/Benjamin..Maven also sets up The Coach vs J.R., Christy Hemme vs Stacy Keibler, and himself in a World title match!Maven kicks the night off with a threeway tag team match for the Tag Team titles! TAG TITLE 3-WAY: La Resistance vs Rhyno & Tajiri vs William Regal & Eugene.. La Resistance eliminated Rhyno & Tajiri with a flagpoll shot to the ribs..William Regal had the pin, but let Eugene tag in and hit the People's elbow and score the pinfall!William Regal & Eugene pulled several kids out of the crowd and celebrated -- shades of the Junk Yard Dog! INTERVIEW: Maria & William Regal + Eugene Dinsmore.. William Regal celebrates and says Eugene is off calming down, and dedicates his title victory to his dad..Eugene Dinsmore shows up and dumps two jugs of chocolate milk over the heads of Maria and William..William Regal tries to whip milk off Maria's breast, causing Eugene to stare, and Regal says he will go blind! BACKSTAGE: Maven + Triple H.. Maven took a moment to flirt with a woman backstage -- who was actually Candice Michelle from the RAW DivaSearch..Maven walks into his special General Manager's office and finds World Heavyweight champion Triple H waiting..Triple H offers Maven a place within Evolution if Maven passes up the opportunity to go for the World title..Maven says he's sticking with his decision and wants his shot at the World Heavyweight title..Triple H gives a long boring speech about the benefits of being a member of Evolution..Triple H also plants the seed that Maven's 'friends' will turn on him if he somehow becomes champion.. DIVAS MATCH: Lita vs Molly Holly.. Lita made Molly Holly tap out to the rear naked choke submission hold..After the match, Trish Stratus came out with a guard strapped to her face to protect her broken nose..Trish Stratus went to the ring to try to get revenge, but Lita pie-faced her to the mat! MATCH: The Coach vs Jim Ross.. Before the match, GM Maven came on the screen and said he didn't mean JR, he meant RKO, Randy Orton! MATCH: The Coach vs Randy Orton.. Randy Orton came out and made short work of the Coach, pinning him after an RKO.. INTERVIEW: Todd Grisham & Edge & Christian.. Todd Grisham points out that it's been three years since Edge & Christian formed a tag team..Edge says that since then he's written a book and become a mega superstar on RAW..Christian says last time he was in a Tag Team match, he pinned Shawn Michaels.. BACKSTAGE: Randy Orton & Maven.. Randy Orton wishes Maven luck on his shot at the World title but senses Maven may choose to join Evolution..Randy Orton gives Maven a speech about how it was being a member of Evolution..Maven says he questions Randy Orton's motives because as long as Triple H is champ, he'll never get a shot.. TAG MATCH: Edge & Christian vs Chris Benoit & Shelton Benjamin.. After a long great tag team match, Chris Benoit made Christian tap out to the Crippler Crossface..After the match, Edge snapped and beat the living hell out of Christian! BACKSTAGE: Maven & Ric Flair.. Ric Flair delivers two women to Maven to 'sweeten the deal' to convince him to join Evolution.. LIGERIE PILLOW FIGHT: Christy Hemme defeated Stacy Keibler..BACKSTAGE: Triple H talks stuff over with Batista, who seems extremely distracted..IN THE RING: Simon Dean + This Week's Fan Victim + Rosey.. Simon Dean pulls another over-weight fan (plant) out of the crowd and humiliates him..Rosey comes out to confront Simon Dean, and tries to splash him, but Dean pulls the fan in the path!Rosey accidentally squashed the fan/plant in the corner as Simon Dean escape and pumped himself up! BACKSTAGE: Maven & Chris Benoit & Chris Jericho (The Chris' try to talk some sense into Maven)..VIGNETTE: Muhammad Hassan & Khosrow Daivari (Claimes they will beat the prejiduce out of us)..WORLD TITLE MATCH: Triple H vs Maven.. Maven comes out and declines Triple H's offer to join Evolution and the match is on!Ric Flair & Batista tried to interfere early, bringing Chris Benoit & Chris Jericho down to stop them!After some dramatic false finishes, Triple H hit the Pedigree and scored the pin to escape with his title!
