| | RING OF HONOR WRESTLING RESULTS Ring of Honor - Final Battle 2004 December 26, 2004 - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania MATCH: Jimmy Jacobs defeated Trent Acid (Afterwards, Trent Acid got on the mic and "quit" Ring of Honor..MIXED TAG MATCH: Deranged & Lacey w/Cheech & Cloudy defeated AngelDust & Becky Bayless (Lacey pinned Becky).. After the match, Lacey ordered her men to attack AngelDust and threaten Becky until Dunn & Marcos made the save. MATCH: Rockin' Rebel defeated Devon Moore..MATCH: Homicide w/Julius Smokes defeated Josh Daniels..PURE TITLE MATCH: John Walters defeated Jimmy Rave by submission to retain.. After the match, John Walters accepted Prince Nana's money and joined the Embassy.. FIGHT WITHOUT HONOR: Dan Maff & BJ Whitmer defeated The Carnage Crew (Loc & DeVito).. Match included tables, ladders, chairs, kendo sticks, and thumbtacks (which were introduced Mick Foley!)..After the match, Mick Foley paised both teams and got them to shake hands and hug out of respect.. FINAL CONFRONTATION: Ricky Steamboat & Mick Foley.. Mick Foley & Ricky Steamboat cut promos on eachother and wrapped up their feud as Steamboat signed with WWE..Mick Foley wished Steamboat luck in making stars out of Snitsky, Heidenreich, and Luther Reigns..Mick Foley then called out Samoa Joe to offer a truce, but Joe ended up turning on Foley and punching him! MATCH: Jay Lethal defeated Prince Nana's Weapon of Mask Destruction #2..TAG MATCH: Steve Corino & C.M. Punk w/Tracy Brooks defeated Alex Shelley & Roderick Strong.. After the match, Austin Aries came down and he and Roderich Strong turned on Alex Shelley! MATCH: Low Ki vs American Dragon ended in a NO CONTEST.. The two wrestlers brawled into the lobby of the building where Homicide & Smokes appeared and attacked Dragon!Homicide smashed American Dragon's arm with a steel chair before Lay Lethal and some others made the save..Low Ki went back to the ring and assaulted the referee and demanded he be named the winner since Dragon was gone..Low Ki then knocked the referee out and choked him with a leather belt in the camel clutch position..ROH officials later changed the decision to Low Ki being disqualified for outside interference.. ROH TITLE MATCH: Austin Aries w/Roderick Strong defeated Samoa Joe w/Jay Lethal to win the Ring of Honor title! Austin Aries reversed Joe's Muscle Buster and hit him with a brainbuster and followed up with a 450 splash for the win!The crowd was incredibly hot for the final five minutes and absolutely erupted for finish with chants of "Aries! Aries!"Samoa Joe showed respect for the new champ, by Congratulating him and helping to strap the belt around Aries waist..And so ends Samoa Joe's illustrious 22 month reign as Ring of Honor Champion..
