Colour Run Fun Run 2024

As a fun way to get involved in the Cross Country, we are running a Colour Run again. This event is for all ages (bring your whānau along), so come and join in, in this family event. Students and whānau will run around the school going over, under, through obstacles, as well as some colour stations. Students/whānau can continue around the course until the colour/time runs out.

We will have a sausage sizzle available as well as sweets, treats & drinks. If you would like to help out with goodies (sweets & treats) for this that would be great.

This is a great chance to dress up (in white and whānau colours).
We will begin the event at 1:45.

School Motif

Welcome to Ōpunakē Primary, where we provide a nurturing and supportive environment for students to grow and thrive. Our school proudly features a unique motif, the Prow of the Canoe, which represents our journey through learning and life. The original design was created by Alan Love in 1991, and we have since adapted (with his permission) to represent our school values and identity with the help of our staff and a local graphic designer.
