Manchester City's brought nearly its full roster of players to Portland as the team conducted its first practice session on the Nike campus in Beaverton Monday.

The big names on the team's travel roster include midfielders Patrick Viera, Shaun Wright-Phillips and Yaya Toure, defenders Wayne Bridge and Kolo Toure and striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

Strikers Carlos Tevez and Robinho, midfielders David Silva and Nigel de Jong along with defender Jerome Boateng are not with the team while they rest after competing in the recently completed 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

The travel squad includes three players who did compete in the 2010 World Cup. England's Wright-Phillips, along with Kolo Toure and Yaya Toure from the Ivory Coast.

Manchester City will practice on the Nike campus for the next 10 days as they prepare for a three-week tour in the United States beginning with a exhibition game against the Portland Timbers Saturday at the University of Portland's Merlo Field.

Manchester City coach Roberto Mancini also included some promising youngsters such as Dedryck Boyata, Greg Cunningham and Abdisalam Ibrahim who all played with the first team last season and strikers Alex Tchuimeni-Nimely and John Guidetti.
