The Earle-Wightman House
The Earle-Wightman House at 20 Summit Street is owned by the Town of Oyster Bay and was operated by the Oyster Bay Historical Society as its headquarters before the opening of the Angela Koenig Research and Collection Center in February 2011.
The house is now open to the general public for viewing of its Colonial Room, Minister's Parlor, 1940's Kitchen, and Windfall Gift Shop. Beginning in November 2016, a gallery of rotating exhibitions on Oyster Bay's social and cultural history completed the first floor's rehabilitation.
The Angela Koenig Center
The history of Oyster Bay is preserved in a state-of-the-art repository which holds a diverse collection relating to the community's military, maritime, political, and religious activities. |
