Patcham High School (original) (raw)
Creative, supportive and hugely aspirational; on behalf of the students, staff and governors welcome to Patcham High.
Located at the heart of our community, we are an energetic, proud and successful school. We have an unshakeable faith in the power of high quality teaching and want the very best for each and every student. We are passionate about education and relentless in our pursuit of improved standards and outcomes. We believe that all children can achieve.
Following a recent Ofsted inspection in April 2023, we our proud to say our school as been rated as ‘Good’. Ofsted also commented that our school ‘actively encourages all pupils to experience and value each other’s differences, cultures, backgrounds and abilities; with leaders who are passionate about education and relentless in developing pupils’ self-esteem and self-respect’.
Our aim is to develop well-balanced 16 year olds, ready to go out into the wider world, to lead happy and fulfilling lives and to contribute, positively and generously. We place great importance on high quality relationships, teamwork and a ‘can do attitude’. Our students display:
Pride and respect
Grit and resilience
Confidence and creativity
… they have hope for the future and they are qualified to make choices.
Best wishes
John McKee

At Patcham High School we are committed to being a school for all and consider ourselves a proactive community who promote inclusivity and celebrate diversity. We are an Anti-Racist School who endeavour to create an environment which allows all our pupils and staff to thrive and learn from each other’s differences; experiences, cultures, backgrounds, identities and abilities. It is our intention to ensure that all students are supported to be proud of themselves, respect each other and ultimately succeed as young adults. We are particularly conscious of the need to ensure the identities of those from minority groups are acknowledged and celebrated – in every field, at all times, every day – whether students of colour or LGBTQ+ we have an overall aim of providing equal opportunities for all by having One Team and One Dream.
