Jerash by Dick Osseman (original) (raw)

Jerash is an ancient site, the earliest traces of human existence date from the 6th millennium BC. The most important sight for tourists though is a huge Roman city, most of it dating from after the middle of the 1st century AD.

For a clear view of the area covered use the map view. Note that a few gps data was wrong (taking the picture too early before the gps had settled and similar).

In 2021 I put major sights into sub-galleries (bold names). Between those are pictures taken during the route I walked. Those pictures, if they have gps coordinates, can be seen on a map. For the other ones, first open a sub-gallery.
