Parents, Administrators, Staff & Students/ Parent Advisory Committee/Special Education Parent Advisory Group Meeting Dates Do you want to be informed about CCTS goals and what is being done to meet them? If so, you should join the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC). It is a great way to gain leadership experience and to let your voice be heard. CCTS NAMES 2024 BUSINESS PARTNER OF THE YEAR The Camden County Technical School District (CCTS) selected Antoinette Mangano Fugee as their 2024 Business Partner of the Year. KRISTAL RIVERA – SUPPORT STAFF MEMBER OF THE YEAR, PC Kristal Rivera was selected as the 2024-2025 Support Staff Member of the Year at the Pennsauken Campus of Camden County Technical Schools (CCTS). She has worked for the district for the past four years and currently serves as Secretary in the Assistant Principal’s Office. CAROL JARVIS – EDUCATIONAL SERVICES PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR, PC Carol Jarvis was selected as the 2024-2025 Educational Services Professional of the Year at the Pennsauken Campus of Camden County Technical Schools (CCTS). She began her career at CCTS as a mathematics teacher, and, for the past 15 years, has served as an Instructional Coach, providing unwavering support new teachers to enhance student learning outcomes. CARL WYDRA – TEACHER OF THE YEAR, PC Carl Wydra was selected as the 2024-2025 Teacher of the Year at the Pennsauken Campus of CCTS. He joined the CCTS faculty in 2016 as a Graphic Communications teacher, prior to that served as a substitute teacher in the district bringing with him years of experience in the industry across various roles. PARENT NIGHT OCTOBER 10 Parents! You are invited to attend our Parents’ Night program on Thursday evening, October 10, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. The purpose of Parents’ Night is for you to visit with each of your child’s teachers and learn what will be expected from your child. You may bring your Penn Tech student to take you to his/her classes. Each class period will be twelve (12) minutes, so there will not be enough time for individual parent conferences. If you would like to schedule a parent/teacher conference, please contact our School Counseling Office and one of the staff members will be happy to schedule a conference for you. Here’s an overview of the plan for the evening:  Arrive prior to 6:00 p.m., pick up your child’s schedule, and report to homeroom.  Homeroom will begin at 6:00 p.m.  Listen for the bells and/or announcements and follow your child’s schedule.  Parents’ Night will end at 8:30 p.m. Summer Packet 24-25 School Year Please click on the link for important information for the new school year! Pennsauken Campus School Store Special Hours The School store will open in room 300 for the following special hours: Monday - August 19 - 12 noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday - August 20 - (day of orientation ) regular hours 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday - August 21 - 6 a.m. to 12 noon. YARI SANTANA SELECTED 2024 ALUMNA OF THE YEAR Dr. Yaritza Santana has been named 2024 Alumna of the Year at Camden County Technical Schools (CCTS). She is a 2013 graduate of the district’s Pennsauken Campus and will be honored on June 17th with a plaque during the high school graduation ceremony of her alma mater. 2024 Senior Class School Issued Chromebooks Important information and dates concerning school issued Chromebooks for Seniors BEST OF CLASS 2024 FROM THE PENNSAUKEN CAMPUS OF CCTS The Pennsauken Campus of Camden County Technical Schools was proud to honor eight "Camden County Best of Class" recipients on May 13th during a recognition ceremony at Camden County College. CCTS STUDENTS WIN AT TEEN ARTS FESTIVAL Congratulations to the winners of the Teen Arts Festival from Camden County Technical Schools. These students are in the Graphic Arts and Design career program at our Pennsauken Campus and entered the digital art category. ALLIED HEALTH CAREER STUDENTS 100% PASSING RATE ON CNA EXAM Each year, the seniors in Allied Health Careers, patient care pathway, take the Certified Nurse Assistant Exam. We are pleased to report that there was a 100% passing rate for every CCTS senior who took the exam. See the list below of students who can now proudly add "CNA" after their name! Our students are really going places. CCTS CULINARY TEAM WINS THREE AWARDS AT COUNTY NJAC COMPETITION Congratulations to our Culinary Arts staff and students for winning three awards at the 2024 New Jersey Association of Counties (NJAC) Vocational-Technical School annual Cook Off. WELCOME NEW DIRECTORS OF TEACHING, LEARNING AND ASSESSMENT During the April Board of Education meeting, two current staff members were named as Directors of Teaching, Learning, and Assessment: Karen Gill and Jessica Tosti. They began their new post on May 1st and will work collaboratively, supporting our district’s mission, and continuing to serve our students and staff.
