September on PS5 Is Officially Insane, Onimusha: Way of the Sword Locks Release Date (original) (raw)
Demo out now
I don't know how we're going to cover all of the PS5 games coming out in September.
As if the schedule wasn't already insane, Capcom's gone ahead and locked in Onimusha: Way of the Sword for the 25th September.
To quickly recap, this is what the month looks like as of right now on Sony's current-gen console:
- The Blood of Dawnwalker - 3rd September
- Phantom Blade Zero - 9th September
- Marvel's Wolverine - 15th September
- Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter - 17th September
- Dune: Awakening - 22nd September
- Silent Hill: Townfall - 24th September
- Onimusha: Way of the Sword - 25th September
Honestly, it feels like something's got to give here. I don't see how all of these titles launch without eating into each other's sales. Anything to avoid GTA 6, it seems.
But hey, if Onimusha gets hit with a delay, you'll at least be able to play it for yourself way ahead of time. There's a playable demo out right now on PS5. It weighs in at 10.7GB.
Are you excited for Onimusha? What do you think of September on PS5? Pull off some crazy parries in the comments section below.

Robert (or Rob if you're lazy) is an assistant editor of Push Square, and has been a fan of PlayStation since the 90s, when Tekken 2 introduced him to the incredible world of video games. He still takes his fighting games seriously, but RPGs are his true passion. The Witcher, Persona, Dragon Quest, Mass Effect, Final Fantasy, Trails, Tales — he's played 'em all. A little too much, some might say.
