Photos from The Overland Track (original) (raw)

The Overland Track

I had a great time hiking on and along the classic trail from December 23 - December 29 in 2008.
To help others prepare for what to expect on this hike, I have put together the photojournal you see below.

In general I found it to be an easy walk, although it's a fairly long one. For the full experience,
I think at least Cradle Mountain and Mount Ossa should be conquered, in addition to the Overland itself.

Please join me on this journey by photos.
The best way to go is by clicking on the first button and then continue using the arrow icon on the next page.

If you have any questions about anything at all regarding the walk, do get in touch.

About the photos: * Taken with a Sony DSC-H50Link to camera at Amazon.com (fixed lens, not an SLR)
* Some photos were processed using Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 and Nik Color Efex Pro 3
* The 56 photos were selected from about 600 photos I manage to squeeze out of my camera batteries
