About Rajendra Darda
An ace journalist, erudite editor, successful entrepreneur, dedicated social worker and committed politician, Mr Rajendra Darda is a man with multifaceted personality in the true sense of the word.
Currently, he is the Editor-in-Chief of Lokmat Media Group and spearheads 17 editions of newspapers in Marathi, Hindi and English languages. He has been responsible for making Lokmat the largest circulated and read Marathi daily and one of the most powerful brands of India. As a senior cabinet minister of Maharashtra, he handled important portfolios like energy, tourism, finance and planning, home, industry, and school education. Due to his perseverance Aurangabad was included in the Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor project.
