The Netherlands is a small European country and in one century of automobile history it only brought forth two car manufacturers of international acclaim: Spyker and DAF. Where DAF started after WW2 and introduced mass production of small affordable cars to The Netherlands, Spyker was a pioneer marque starting car manufacture at the turn of the 20th century and renown for building high quality luxury cars in small amounts.
Both original companies have stopped producing cars many years ago, but at the turn of the 21st century the Spyker name has been revived for car production. On this occasion RitzSite looks back at the original Spyker production, showing you some of the very few cars that are left, and looks forward to the new exotic Spyker cars.
