Final Score:........Toronto Lynx.....(1) 1.........Montreal Impact.......(1) 2.......
Attendance was 1284. The Lynx were down to their 3rd string goalie and he looked shakey. Pat Onstad was listed as a substitute but he is injured. Joe Ciaravino is sitting out a red card from last week's game against Hershey Wildcats.
Referee Tony Comacho called a lot of fouls and gave a lot of calls in this game. He was the star of the game like his refereeing of the Canada-Costa Rica friendly here in Toronto a few years ago. I thought when the Impact lost a player to a red card, the Lynx would eventually win but they lost a player as well in the 1st half. Toronto Lynx are in a great slump.
The team was trying to encourage fans to take a trip to Montreal for Sunday's rematch. Price was $55.00 and bus would leave at 8am from Lynx office and return by midnight. The team said they needed a minimum of 35 fans for the charter.
Also there will be a banquet on October 17th as a season ending dinner.
