Critics Consensus

Though the narrative remains too ambitious, DC's Legends of Tomorrow enjoys a freer creative arc with the removal of problem characters.

Allison Shoemaker CBR That's not to say that "Fellowship" totally eschews the "let's do whatever sounds most fun" atmosphere that's defined the show's sophomore season, but this is certainly a darker and more melancholy episode than we've seen from "Legends" recently Dec 12, 2017 Full Review Sara Ghaleb Vox It's my favorite show on television, and it could be yours too. Apr 4, 2017 Full Review Allison Keene Collider For those who gave up on Legends after its disappointing first season, take heart that the story might finally be getting the justice it deserves. Rated: 3/5 Oct 4, 2016 Full Review David Hogan hoganreviews.co.uk The overall story arc was a great laugh and it has some outstanding episodes. Top stuff, and I truly hope they can continue this momentum into Season 3. Rated: 4/5 Feb 17, 2019 Full Review Rob Bricken io9.com I could watch a show just about them going on their evil road-trip through time. Jul 30, 2018 Full Review Kevin Fitzpatrick ScreenCrush As far as premieres go, this was about as much fun as Legends of Tomorrow could find space to cram in. Freedom T Huge improvement over season 1 but it still feels something is missing Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Season 2 was a huge improvement over season 1, getting rid of rip was a good choice. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Its hard to find bad things about the show. Its funny, its dark. The vilains are great. The heroes are great. Its VERY entertaining. Each episode as a good reason to be there. Most of the cast get good material. The music. Its a great scy fy time travel tv show with super heroes in it. Great time watching it! Upon my 2nd watch, i had hard time fiding things i didnt like. The season was amazing, it was well written and i think it should deserve a 9,5 out of 10. Characters do in characters stuff and characters are truly a team of outcast. Nate and Amaya both replacing the hawks from season 1 was amazing. The JSA being introduced was great. The stargirl from the JSA was interresting but the one that had her own show was much better and less generic. The legends are more then just heroes, they all have a good set of skillz. Nate the historian. Stein and Ray the scientists. Jax the mechanic. Sara becoming captain of the ship was amazing. RIP being turned to the dark side was great. Eobard-Malcom-Damian are three amazing vilain. The only issue i got from that season would be all these times the legends loose a piece of the spear of destiny. Or when any of the member get captured for the plot to be flipped. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member The second season is where things start becoming more fun. It's great to see how the show bounced up in just one year. The season begins with all the members separated in different timelines. The first episode itself starts with the French Revolution, and in just five minutes the serial shows how it is no longer the terrible show that it once was. It used the previous big villains from Arrow and The Flash - Reverse Flash, Malcolm Merlon and Damien Darhk. It's funny how Malcolm and Damien were the reasons why Arrow had started rotting. The team also adds Steel and Vixen to their team, and that is for the better. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member In addition to bringing a plot that is competent, the second season of Legends of Tomorrow manages to correct most of the mistakes of the first season, the narrative is very intuitive and ends up that the events are not as loose as in the first season, it is a good series to watch mainly because it contains a little more interesting stories than is usually presented to us. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I really love this show a lot Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
