Welcome to the Scarcroft Village website.

Scarcroft is a welcoming community on the A58 mid way between Leeds and Wetherby. It includes an Inn ( built in 1852), a well-known golf club, a thriving village hall and a childrens playground, numerous community groups and twelve hundred residents.

Leeds Festival 2024:

We are delighted to be able to offer residents the opportunity to enter the ballot for a limited no. of tickets for the 2024 Leeds Festival.

Please complete the following application form and submit to the email address provided within the form.

Thanks to the help of Councillor Matthew Robinson and after a long campaign with the Council we are pleased to see that the speed camera has been installed in the village.

Whilst the preference of the PC was to have x2 cameras, one at each end of the village we were informed there were issues relating to Highways regulations.

This is not the end of the planned traffic calming measures and we look forward to the implementation of additional preventative measures to improve the safety and decrease the speed of motorists as they pass through our village.

There has been an issue with some people receiving their tickets via email, if you have not received your email please follow these simple steps:

Whether you received tickets by email or not, you can still access all of your tickets by logging in to the Universe site. Here are the instructions on how to do so:

If you don’t already have a Universe password, click on ‘Forgot password?’ – this must be sent to the email address you gave when you completed your ticket application

Log in with your new password

Click on your name at the top of the screen then…

Select “my tickets “

You may have to wait whilst it loads but all of your tickets should be available.

We have received notification from Leeds City Council Highways that there may be traffic disruption from the 4th – 22nd September on the A58 at the J.P.Wild Ltd building site at the southern entrance to the village.

From the 4th – 15th September there will be traffic lights which will be in operation 24 hours a day.

From the 18th – 22nd September the traffic lights will be in operation from 09:30 – 15:30 each day.
