Eunice Lam, Bruce Lee’s former sister-in-law, dies at age 75 (original) (raw)
Prolific writer and columnist Eunice Lam, who’s often dubbed as Hong Kong’s “prodigal daughter”, passed away yesterday at Hong Kong Sanatorium and Hospital. Lam, 75, lost her battle with lung cancer. Fashion designer William Tang, a good friend of hers, confirmed the news, according to Oriental Daily.

Lam was in the spotlight during her 12-year romantic relationship with lyricist James Wong. The duo founded an advertising agency together which was later acquired by Saatchi & Saatchi Compton.
Lam was previously married to Peter Lee, the elder brother of late martial arts legend Bruce Lee. The couple filed for divorce and Lee married Miss Hong Kong winner Mary Cheung in 1980.

Lam was born in a family of artists and writers. Her brother Richard is a famous lyricist who has worked with the likes of Sally Yeh, Sandy Lam and George Lam.
