About
At Warren G. Magnuson Park, you'll find more than four miles of walking trails along the shores of Lake Washington, grassy fields, evergreen and deciduous trees and brush, and captivating public art installations. Located along a splendid mile-long stretch of Lake Washington's shoreline in northeast Seattle, it is Seattle's second-largest park, encompassing 350 acres.
Magnuson Park boasts many landmarks and historical sites that prominently display Art Deco-style architecture. The park's Historic District features more than 20 brick and metal structures built in the 1930s and 1940s, recalling the park's history as a Naval airfield.
Magnuson also has a huge variety of amenities and features such as sports fields, a community garden, a wetland habitat, trails, boat launch, a community center, swimming beach, and more!
Discover a great urban park that includes pieces of Seattle's military past and eco-friendly future!

Magnuson Building 12 Stabilization
The project is currently in the construction phase with crews on site constructing a new roof replacement. The building is closed to the public.
The Magnuson Building 12 Stabilization Project includes abatement of interiors, resurfacing/waterproofing of the roof, roof access hatch, and repairs to the facade.
Building 12 is located at 7737 62nd Ave NE. Construction will occur in late 2024. In addition, we are coordinating with the Magnuson Park Advisor Council to explore opportunities for art on plywood panels to cover and protect the windows. The total budget for this project is $702,000.
