The book may be purchased from shops located near the sights it describes. Monreale: At the abbey, the book/souvenir stand under the north portico (where most visitors enter the church) is operated by the bookshop. If you do not find the book there, the staff can send somebody to get a copy from the bookshop. If the stand is closed, the bookshop may still be open; it is located on the ground floor near the outside entrance to the museum. If you do not wish to pay to visit the museum (reached through the church from a door near the kings' tombs) just to visit the bookshop, the outside entrance is easily reached by leaving the church via the north portico and going around the apses to the other side.
Palermo: The Libreria del Corso is located along the pedestrian zone of Via (or "Corso") Vittorio Emanuele at number 332, between the Quattro Canti and Piazza Bologni, a few steps from the Centrale Palace Hotel (on the opposite side of the street). In addition to this title, the bookshop sells several other books by Jacqueline Alio and Louis Mendola.
