A unit of plane angle, also called a grad or grade. Symbol, gon. One gon is (pi/200) radian; 400 gon = 360°. The symbol is a superscript “g,” for example, 35g. One gon is approximately 0.0157 079 6 radian.

According to the current national standard in the United States¹, the gon is not to be used. The radian should be used instead.
