Candidate of medical sciences degree, 1984; workes atIMBP in Moscow; was selected as cosmonaut on 25.01.1989 (IMBP-5);OKP (cosmonaut basic training): 01.10.1990 - 31.01.1992; since 1994 Chief ofIMBP cosmonaut team; participant in several long duration experiments (e.g.SFINCSS-99), after leaving the cosmonaut group he worked again at theIMBP.
