Welcome to the City of Stephenson!

Stephenson is a City of 816 people located in the middle of
Menominee County, Michigan. The City has a Mayoral form of government with a Council of six.

The City has three parks set up with horseshoe pits, a ball diamond, and pavilions which are available for day use or rental. A seasonal ice rink, tennis courts, and basketball hoops are also open to the public.

The City is home to restaurants, bars, a winery, a bakery, and multiple churches and financial institutions. The Stephenson Area Public School system (K-12) is also located within City limits along with the Mid-County Rescue Squad and the Stephenson Volunteer Fire Department.

The City provides safe drinking water, a sanitary sewer system, and its own electrical system with power being purchased from Wisconsin Public Service (WEC).

Area recreational activities include small and large game hunting, inland and Great Lakes fishing, and County parks for camping.
