Welcome!

St James’ Selby is a family-friendly church located in the heart of Selby at the end of Audus Street, just off Gowthorpe.

We are a community of all ages from 0-93 who believe that Jesus loves you and has good plans for us all. We would love you to come and join us!

Our Vision

As a Christian Community, we seek to be obedient to God’s leading and we have prayerfully considered those things that we believe God wants us to focus on.

We believe that God's priorities for St James' are:

• Encounter – Hosting the Presence of God
• Community – Deepening our relationships as a church family
• Evangelism – Sharing the Good News of God’s kingdom in word and action

Services

Our Sunday morning service starts at 10.30am every week.

Our Kids' groups Kaboom! & Office Gang meet on 2nd and 4th Sundays

Edge Community

Edge Community was established by St. James’ in 2006 with a vision to establish a sustainable, vibrant Christian Community on the Flaxley Road estate.

Led by Captain Richard

Cooke of the Church Army, the Edge Community meets weekly at the Coultish Centre on Charles Street and aims to be a Christian community for the local community.
