Hun Yuan Gong
6 week Series
November 11th - December 16th
Mondays from 9:00 - 10:30am
Online via Zoom
Hun Yuan Gong 混元功 is one of the most important Qigong methods in the Hun Yuan system. Gathering Qi 氣 from the environment to augment our Prenatal Qi 先天元氣 (our genetic inheritance). This practice opens the Qi-channels of the body and establishes the Danqiao 丹竅 the Dantian 丹田, energetic openings in the body where the essence, qi, and spirit 精氣神are cultivated.
Hun Yuan Gong promotes health, prolongs life, deepens stillness, promotes, mental clarity, and increases internal strength. This series will present the underlying principles and methods of Hun Yuan Gong which are the foundation of the Hun Yuan System.
Deepening Practice Winter Retreat
Friday 12/27/24 - Sunday 1/5/25
Stay for the full 10 days or a shorter time, as fits your schedule.
The Deepening Practice Retreat is an opportunity to immerse oneself in dedicated practice, which results in accelerated progress.
Throughout the retreat, there will be an emphasis on individual guidance to deepen each participant’s skill and understanding, regardless of experience level.
The curriculum will include meditation, qigong, and form practice throughout the day with a talk and discussion each evening after dinner.
Essential in the practice of the Hun Yuan system is the idea of Nourishing.
It is only through the understanding and practice of Nourishing that health and vitality are cultivated, and true skill develops.
Extended practice in a natural setting allows opportunity to access and harvest the qi of nature and to strengthen and deepen one’s own practice.
