NOTICE OF MEETING TO VOTE ON TAX RATE

A public meeting to vote on the proposed tax rate will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at 100 E. Weatherford St, Fort Worth, Texas 76196. The proposed tax rate is not greater than the no-new-revenue tax rate. This means that Tarrant County is not proposing to increase property taxes for the 2024 tax year. NOTICE OF ESTIMATED TAXES AND TAX RATE ADOPTION INFORMATION

Visit tarranttaxinfo.com to find your local property tax database on which you can easily access information regarding your property taxes, including information regarding the amount of taxes that each entity that taxes your property will impose if the entity adopts its proposed tax rate. Your local property tax database will be updated regularly during August and September as local elected officials propose and adopt the property tax rates that will determine how much you pay in property taxes.

September 13, 2024 - Tarrant County Elections invites the public to participate in a test of the County’s voting system ahead of the November 2024 elections. Next week, Tarrant County Elections is conducting public testing of the voting system, as required by law. As was done previously, the public can take part in the validation process of the voting equipment on Monday, September 16, 2024.
