When you have great staff like ours, it is easy to celebrate them! Our August employee of the month is Mrs. Megan Pierson. She was nominated for all of the hard work she put in to make our school year get off to a great start. Mrs. Pierson wears a lot of hats at our school. Her primary role is School Counselor, but she also serves as the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Director, District Testing Coordinator, Public Information Officer, Floriculture Coach, Number Sense Coach, and more. We so appreciate the contribution Mrs. Pierson has made to our school over the last eight years! Mrs. Pierson says her favorite thing about working at Texline is seeing her first ever class of fifth graders become seniors this year. "It has been so fun to watch them grow up and change over the years. It's also really special to have them in class again this year," says Pierson.

When you have great staff like ours, it is easy to celebrate them! Our May employee of the month is Mr. Eric Alston. Coach Alston is our boys assistant coach. He assists with basketball, track, and cross country. He also teaches a couple of high school social studies courses. We are so thankful for the two years Coach Alston has been a part of our team and wish him the best in his next chapter!
