‘Balotsav’ to be held from Nov. 8 (original) (raw)

Balotsav-2013, a State-level inter-school cultural and literary festival, will be held in Kothagudem from November 8 to 10. The mega annual children’s festival will be held under the aegis of the Kothagudem Club.

The main objective of the festival is to promote children’s talent in a wide array of cultural and literary events thereby preserving India’s glorious cultural and literary heritage. Some of the important literary events to be organised during the ensuing three-day festival include playlet analysis, short film review, story analysis (Telugu), moral poems (Telugu) and letter writing (Telugu).

In a statement, Balotsav-2013 convener Vasireddy Ramesh Babu said that two new literary events – ‘Kaloji Kavithalu’ and ‘Neethi Padhyam’ will be introduced in Balotsav-2013 in addition to a wide spectrum of literary and cultural competitive events.
