This connection highlights the commonalities between both towns, and reinforces the values of community and support during challenging times.

Joshua Ford Named Trinity County Employee of the Year
Weaverville, CA (October 15, 2024) – Earlier today, the Trinity County Board of Supervisors recognized Joshua Ford as the 2023-2024 Trinity County Employee of the Year! Mr. Ford serves as a Detective Sergeant in the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office, and is described as the backbone of our county’s detective efforts, leading some of the most complex and challenging investigation cases. This year, more than 70 Employee of the Year nominations were submitted, making the task of identifying a single winner extremely challenging for Department Heads and the County Administrative Officer.

Weaverville, CA (OCTOBER 01, 2024) – Earlier today, the Trinity County Board of Supervisors adopted the Final Budget for Fiscal Year 2024/2025, which includes significant measures to ensure the continued delivery of essential services while maintaining fiscal responsibility. The approved $144.7M budget relies on significant reductions in general fund departments, as well as the generous support of both the Friends of the Library and Trinity Animal Shelter Auxiliary (TASA).
