Cryogenic Air Separation Plants (ASU)

Cryogenic Air Separation Units (ASUs) offer an efficient solution for on-site industrial gas needs, especially for high production rates. Suitable for volumes as low as 30 tons per day and essential for requirements exceeding 200 tons per day, ASUs can supply nitrogen, oxygen, and argon, optimizing cost when multiple gases are needed. With over 30 years of experience, our team can customize ASUs to meet specific flow, pressure, and purity requirements, including the capability to produce liquid backup products.

Cryogenic Air Separation Plants (ASU)

Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption (VPSA) Oxygen Plant

Vacuum-pressure swing adsorption (VPSA) units are ideal for producing oxygen with purities between 90 and 95%, alongside argon and nitrogen. They are best suited for volumes ranging from 20 to 100 tons per day, with the option to combine multiple units for higher capacities. VPSA systems offer a cost-effective alternative to cryogenic ASUs, particularly when high-purity oxygen isn’t necessary. They are perfect for applications utilizing oxygen for combustion or chemical processes that can tolerate the additional argon and nitrogen.

Cryogenic Storage Systems

UIG provides a range of new ASME-coded cryogenic storage tanks for liquid nitrogen (LIN), liquid oxygen (LOX), and liquid argon (LAR), with capacities from 300 to 100,000 gallons. They also offer vaporizers and Liquid CO2 storage tanks in sizes from 3 to 50 tons. UIG offers flexible commercial options, including direct sales, turnkey design and installation, and leasing. Their expert team is ready to assess your needs and deliver the ideal solution.

UIG proudly owns and operates ASUs around the United States, many of which produce dedicated liquid product in addition to the gaseous products they feed direct to pipeline customers. These additional liquid products are available for wholesale and can be picked up at one of our liquid producing plants.
