JFMS is the official journal of International Cat Care (iCatCare) Veterinary Society and the Feline Veterinary Medical Association (FelineVMA). JFMS is an open access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing original papers of international or global significance that improve the veterinary care and welfare of domestic cats. JFMS publishes original papers, short communications and larger cases series (minimum of four cases), as well as review papers and Society-led consensus guidelines. JFMS has a sister title, the Journal of Feline Medicine and Surgery Open Reports, which is also dedicated to improving the veterinary care and welfare of domestic cats. JFMS Open Reports publishes case reports and small case series (up to three cases) providing novel information as well as short communications of national or regional significance (eg, reporting regional data related to well-recognised diseases).
This journal is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

The discount applies if any authors are an iCatCare Veterinary Society of FelineVMA member, Editorial Board member or recent JFMS reviewer. Only one discount can be applied per paper, but the greatest discount available will be used. The APC is payable when a manuscript is accepted after peer review, before it is published, and is subject to TAX/VAT where applicable (further details here).
