United Kingdom
Rocketry Association
The United Kingdom Rocketry Association (UKRA) promotes and represents high power, medium power and model rocketry in the United Kingdom for amateur research, educational and recreational purposes.
UKRA is also the specialist technical body to the BMFA with responsibilities for High Power Rocketry.
Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram and check out our News page for regular updates.
Team Project Support
The UKRA Team Project Support (TPS) scheme has been developed to assist and facilitate teams, from a university or other recognised bodies to develop, build and launch a rocket safely from a UKRA supported site, with the appropriate indemnity and without the requirements normally imposed by the UKRA certification process.
Learn about safety
The promotion of safe and responsible model, high power and experimental rocketry is fundamental to the United Kingdom Rocketry Association (UKRA).
Central to these principles are the Safety Code, the demonstration of individual proficiency, the role of the Range Safety Officers (RSOs) and safeguarding.
