Ulen Museum - Take a walk back in time &Learn about the rich history of rural Minnesota at the ULEN MUSEUM. (original) (raw)

The Dream Comes True

Ground was broken in the spring of 2006 for the new 40' x 100' museum on the main street in Ulen. Volunteer construction workers, plumbers and electricians have built a facility that will serve the area for many generations to come.

Artifacts from the original museum have been cleaned, cataloged and displayed in the new museum. Many new items are being donated and unique displays have been created. The new Ulen Museum opened its doors on Sunday, August 4, 2007.

Since opening in 2007, Ulen Museum has hosted traveling exhibits from the Minnesota Historical Society (MHS) including “Electrifying Minnesota" and "1968 - The Coming of Age in Minnesota". We have hosted award-winning author visits from Lauraine Snelling (The Blessing series and others) and Heidi Haagenson (The Tenney Quilt). Tour groups and area students have made the Ulen Museum a favorite visit. We hope you'll make the Ulen Museum a stop on your next trip to Ulen!
